Hi, I’m Ellie. Welcome to Christian Coy Skincare.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked hands-on with skin as an esthetician. Christian Coy grew out of that experience—and out of my belief that the products we use at home should be every bit as thoughtful and effective as the treatments we receive in the treatment room.

I formulate Christian Coy myself, drawing on what decades of working with real skin have taught me. I combine advanced actives—peptides, targeted molecules and modern delivery systems—with botanicals, extracts and carefully selected oils to create formulas that support healthy-looking, resilient skin while addressing the concerns I see every day in my practice.

And if I’m being completely truthful, Christian Coy didn’t begin entirely selflessly.

I wanted the best skincare I could create for myself. I wanted to age beautifully, keep my skin healthy and strong, and use products I genuinely looked forward to applying every day. That pursuit became something much bigger, and sharing these formulas with my clients—and now with you—has become one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

The name Christian Coy

Christian Coy takes its name from the middle names of my two stepsons. I loved the way the names sounded together, but I loved even more that something so personal could become part of the brand I was building.

I’m a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and have spent most of my life in Sonoma County. Wine may be part of the culture here, but skincare has always been my passion. Fittingly, the lab where I formulate and produce Christian Coy was once part of a winery.

My approach has always been to look at skin from more than one angle. Rather than building a formula around a single trendy ingredient, I create layered formulations designed around how ingredients work together.

That means pairing the power of botanicals with advanced skincare science and using meaningful levels of ingredients chosen for a reason—not simply so their names can appear on a label.

But results aren't the only thing that matters to me.

Skincare should also be something you enjoy. The texture, the smell, the ritual of applying it—those things matter too. My goal with Christian Coy is to create skincare that cares for your skin while bringing a little of the treatment-room experience home with you.
